The
modified integrated curriculum model, based on current brain
research, guides students to become creative and intelligent
problem solvers in all academic subjects. Our curriculum builds
inquisitive minds, where students learn how to address academic
problems in the classroom as well as in their everyday lives.
Each day is organized to engender deep, long-lasting learning
in the core academic subjects of math, reading and language
which are then integrated with science, history, social studies
and the arts.
The
Learning Environment encourages everyone to learn and
to be successful. Students support each other, and are not
graded against one another.
Assessment
Each
student is encouraged to acquire mastery of appropriate grade
level skills. Assessments are done periodically to monitor children's
progress and to support their efforts.
